I have no way to explain to you all how amazing my friend Sarah is. We worked together for three years on our fashion magazine at school and became best friends and I'm so thankful for STITCH for bringing her genius to me. She is amazing but also incredibly talented and I can't wait to watch as she continues being a bad ass journalist. We went together to the Bowie exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum then got to play around with my camera. She is and will always be my favorite photo subject.

...then they'll want a photographer friend to explore with.
I was so lucky to meet and work with my dear friend Mari through our fashion magazine at college and we've stayed friends now both pursuing our dreams in NYC. I was waiting for the perfect time to do a photo walk with her and on the day we both happened to be free we were hit with the bomb cyclone – lots of wind and a moderate amount of rain. She let me photograph her in a little For Love and Lemons dress like a boss while I got all bundled up for her photos of me. Scroll down for my favorite photos of my beautiful, talented friend and for some photos she made of me at the end :)
And some the talented Mari took of me!! <3
I was over the moon during my shoot with the adorable little Aria. She's a tiny firework and kept me on my toes – this bundle of energy was giggling and jumping and twirling nonstop. I can't wait to shoot with her again!
I'm so excited to start working more with fashion bloggers and who better to start with than Ashley of @ClosetVomitFashion? She was such a pleasure to shoot – I left the shoot feeling so inspired and then had the hardest time trying to cut down all the amazing photos! See my faves below:
I was so lucky this year to photograph 3 New York Fashion Week shows and be able to stalk street style. Here are my favorite photos from the whirlwind week.
I was so excited so be able to photograph the gorgeous, stunning, lovely Jenna when I was in New Orleans in January. She is a STAR and I can't wait to see all she achieves!
Here are some of my absolute favorite photos from our shoot in the French Quarter (it was so hard to cut it down!).
All I can say about this shoot is how lucky am I to have one of my best friends living in the same city as me? And on top of that how lucky am I that her sister works at Vogue and was able to style my normally beanie-wearing, sweats-clad love?
This shoot is yet another example of why wandering around and photographing without a plan is actually the best plan.
I was so happy to be able to take some dancing photos when visiting my little dancer at school. See Kyra's photos at Muhlenberg below and some other fantastic dance shots! I can't wait to go back to MC and take more in the spring!! :)
I was so excited to be able to meet up with an old friend from college during DragCon weekend to shoot! It was amaaazing to be able to see Quinn in all her drag glory and to do my first full shoot with a hyperqueen. They are both so beautiful and talented and being able to shoot on a rooftop in Chelsea at golden hour just was the cherry on top. Follow their amazing adventures on their Instagrams - you can find Quinn here and Rosemary here. And enjoy this stunning shoot!
On my way back from Martha's Vineyard I stopped home in Medfield, Mass for a few days so I could see my baby sister off to college. When I was home I was able to meet up with and shoot an old friend from high school, Margaret. We went back to the fields where I had taken her senior portraits (way back when I started my photography business!) and channeled our inner indie folk groups. It was so awesome to be able to see her and catch up with her and I can't wait for you to see the photos!
I met Max (get the title now?? get it??) last year when he was singing with the Vineyard Sound. This year when I hung out with the a cappella group, he made me feel so welcome – he is a kind, lovely person. He's also gorgeous and I was so so thrilled when he agreed to let me shoot him on his private property in Chilmark, Martha's Vineyard. I'm obsessed with the photos and him and I am so excited to show you all. From the model to the location to my dog Aquinnah (#dogmodel) this was a dream shoot.
Two summers ago I was two months into my study abroad experience. I had just finished up an amazing 6 weeks in Arles, in Southern France, where I made two best friends for life (miss you loads Marissa and Mo) and that August I was traveling with my old french host brother before my fall program started up in Paris. Now that I'm post-grad I feel extra nostalgic for my favorite place in the world... I had been planning on going to grad school in Paris for a couple years post university but circumstances changed and now it seems like I'm spending the next while in the US. Which rocks! because I get to be with my family... but makes France even more of a sunset memory.
Now that I've finally found a Lightroom preset pack I'm super happy with (Phil Chester, you rock!) I've gone back through my favorite study abroad photos and revamped the edits. It was so lovely to relive my 7-month trip (on a minuscule scale) and I hope I can get myself back out there soon.
Last Sunday for PRIDE in NYC I was incredibly lucky to be able to photograph Dream Midtown's rooftop pride party. (Huge huge huge thank you to my girl Bella Noche for inviting me and getting me on the VIP list.) It was by far my favorite event I have ever photographed and the amazing rooftop setting + extraordinary subjects made it unforgettable. Below I have a little gallery of my favorite detail shots and then I have my favorite portraits following. Normally I try to pick my favorite 8 pictures..... but you can see how impossible that was! I cannot wait to work with some of these stunning queens again - stay tuned! xx
My best drag friend, Bella Noche, brought me along to Rockbar a month ago for her monthly show. The gorgeous Ophelia Nightbird opened for her with a live guitar set and she is unbelievably talented. Cherry Poppins, the stunning spitfire, was Bella's featured guest and Flippe Kikee hosted her weekly karaoke after Bella's (as always) killer performance. I always feel so lucky to be able to hang out and photograph backstage and here is a selection of my favorite BTS shots and a few of my out-in-the-bar shots. Click on each girl's name to follow their Instagrams and get yourself to Bella's next Rockbar show - it's July 20th and it's her birthday so if you're a drag newbie it's a perfect starter show!!

Alayna is all around lovely. She is sweet and kind, beautiful and talented, soft-spoken and attentive. I feel so lucky that I have been able to become her friend. Listen to her music on soundcloud or Spotify and keep an eye out for all the amazing future work she will do (and my photos)!

I'm moving to Manhattan in less than a month (!!) and making use of my Williamsburg roof while I still have it!
I met Fiona over a year ago while she was studying abroad with my friend in Dublin, Ireland. Fi is bubbly and beautiful and was so easy to photograph! I love this girl.
